Friday 17th or 24th September @ Durlston Observatory and Rangers Centre - 19:30

Weymouth Astronomy club in conjunction with Wessex Astronomical Society have arranged a viewing evening at Durlston Observatory for friday 17th September or if the weather is not favourable Friday 24th September. Please feel free to bring along any observing instruments you can such as binoculars, small scopes. Directions to Durlston can be found on the WAS website. Club Meeting 15th October - 19:30 onwards

After 2 months away from our normal venue, Weymouth Astronomy welcomes Peter Adshead who will be giving a talk titled 'Deep Sky Imaging'. Meeting will also include a look at what's going on in the night sky. Refreshments will also be provided.

Members and non-members are invited to attend the WAC annual Astronomy Quiz. This quiz is in the format of a 'pub style' quiz with teams of 4-5. Each team has to decide on a team name and competes to win great prizes. This fun evening will also include a look at what's going on in the night sky. Refreshments will also be provided.
