Saturn and Grazing Occultation of Saturn - March 1st 2007

An event that sees Saturn 'graze' the Moon's southern edge.

Images below were taken with LX200 GPS 14 inch, Philips SPC 900NC webcam with Baader IR/UV blocking filter and captured with K3CCD tools. Registered and stacked with Registax and processed in Photoshop CS. March 1st near occultation is a composite as two different sets of exposures had to be made, 1 for Saturn and the other for the moon.
